Winter Tyres? But it's still summer!
At last a sunny couple of days! Probably the last thing on your mind is winter and winter tyres! However, last winter saw many customers disappointed as late orders for winter tyres meant that demand out-weighed supply.
This year for peace of mind, why not order early to ensure availability? At Coombe Garage Tyres Ltd we offer a swap & store facility (at a minimal extra charge). This means that you can get your regular use tyres swapped for winter tyres and we will then check the regular tyres & store them until you are ready to swap back from your winter ones.
This provides great flexibility, especially if you plan to travel to Europe for a ski trip, where you would be fully compliant to those countries (such as Germany, Austria, Finland & Sweden) where it is now compulsory to have winter tyres. Once the winter is over simply come back to us for another check, swap & store.
Also known as Cold Weather Tyres, you don't have to wait until it's snowing or icy to fit them. Performance can be improved from use in temperatures below 7 degrees centigrade. This Winter we will be using them on our own fleet of vehicles and will happily share our findings.
